Mandolin Slicer

Yesterday I sliced the tip of my thumb off while slicing potatoes for breakfast. I have never seen anything bleed as much as that did. I had to use three band aides to get it to stop. Later I tried to take them off to put on  clean ones and it bled like crazy again. I decided to leave the second set on all night. This morning I was able to change the dressing without it bleeding again. It even looks better than it did yesterday.  No more using the mandolin without the guard!
