Sunday

I have not feeling well since Friday. Had a sore throat and felt sick to my stomach. But I have a test on Monday and two on Tuesday. School has been harder than I remembered, but I will get through it.

Ultrasound

Saturday, Adrienne had her first ultrasound since she moved from the in vitro clinic. We save the head, arms, hands, legs and a foot. We saw the heart beating, but could not hear it. We also saw the baby's face. It was so awesome and I cried right along with Adrienne. She is having another one this Saturday, they just need to get better pictures of the heart, we were told Saturday that she would probably have to come back because the baby was in the wrong position to get some of the pictures needed. The baby is health and strong and right on schedule.

Latest Baby News

Yesterday Adrienne had another ultra sound to see what was going on with the babies after the bleeding scare. The second baby (the smaller of the two) had no heart beat which we both suspected. The other baby had a heart rate of 160 beats per minute and you could see it as soon as the ultra sound started. All we saw was flash, flash, flash, flash! So one baby is heathly and strong and Adrienne did lose the other one. She is sad but doing better since she saw the one doing so well.

Big scare

My daughter Adrienne has been trying to get pregnant for sometime. She has been doing in vitro and this is her 7th try. She is pregnant and was pregnant with twins until this morning. She is losing the smaller of the fetus'. She started bleeding this morning, since she has miscarriaged before it scared her and we went to the clinic where they comfirmed she was losing one of the babies. The heart rate dropped from 100 to 90, the other is fine and the heart rate is at 139 which is normal for 7 weeks. All we can do now is keep her rested, keep her calm (this is more difficult), and keep her spirits up. I will write more as her pregnancy progresses. Please pray for her and the babies.
